Trike Course
The Trike Course is an eight hour course consisting of both classroom instruction and range time. This course covers the unique handling characteristics of riding a trike. GWRRA certified Knoxville Rider Education RiderCoaches teach this course using the GWRRA curriculum. Only a GWRRA completion card is given; no state certificate or insurance card is currently available for this course. Classes are taught at Pellissippi State Community College, Walters State Community College and our Athens site on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Required Safety Gear:
- Helmet - DOT approved
- Eye protection (face shield or safety glasses)
- Over-the-ankle leather footwear with low heels
- Long pants (denim or material of equal or better durability)
- Long-sleeved shirt or jacket
- Full-fingered gloves (preferably leather)
